Multi wide-body access and loading/unloading Ramps and Fuselage docks
A heavy maintenance hangar has been recently equipped with an aircraft interior equipment removal docking system consisting of Ramps and large Fuselage docks covering PAX doors #1 and #2.
The Tubesca Dock team has been asked to engineer a Ramp and Fuselage docking solution in connection with the hangar’s mezzanine used as an office, storage and workshop area.
This powerful combination provides a permanent and direct access to the aircraft from the mezzanine level and conversely, significantly reducing the time for accessing the cockpit and the cabin and for loading and unloading seats, galleys and other commercial equipment.
This very versatile docking system adjusts in height to fit B777/B787 and A330/A340/A350 aircraft either on wheels or on jacks.
Docks have a supporting structure with a shape of a bridge and a limited number of vertical pillars clearing to the maximum space below docks and so not impeding workflows and safety corridors at ground level.
The docking system requires few adjustments resulting in a very short duration docking phase for starting operation right after the arrival of the aircraft
