New Falcon 8X Nose Access Docks Now in Operation

Two Dassault Aviation Falcon 8X nose access platforms have recently been commissioned and are now in operation with a French customer, marking another successful delivery by Tubesca-Comabi.
Specifically designed to support heavy maintenance operations on the Falcon 8X, these maintenance platforms provide safe and efficient access to the cockpit windows, windshield and inside the cabin, while maintaining full opening capability of the aircraft nose cone. Thanks to an integrated elevation system, the docks can accommodate the aircraft both on wheels and on jacks.
To ensure full compatibility with the Falcon 8X, Tubesca-Comabi’s engineering team considered all aircraft-specific features, including the location of the Ram Air Turbine and Pitot probes. The result is a solution that combines accessibility, safety and operational efficiency.
The docks feature a large working platform that not only provides comfortable cabin access but also facilitates the removal and installation of cabin equipment during major maintenance checks.
The solution consists of two lightweight symmetrical structures that can be easily assembled around the aircraft nose section and quickly separated for storage, offering both flexibility and space efficiency.
